About
I am a first-generation scholar whose research centers on Indigenous repatriation, archaeological ethics, and the reform of the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). I serve as an appointed member of the Society for American Archaeology Committee on Ethics (2026-2029) and am the developer of the NAGPRA Compliance Toolkit, the first open-access digital platform for THPOs, SHPOs, and tribal repatriation practitioners.
My research has been presented at the American Anthropological Association, the National Collegiate Honors Council, the Southern Sociological Society, and the National Association of Native American Studies. I am a member of the Southeastern NAGPRA Community of Practice, a Truist Honors Scholar, and the first community college student to win the SAA Ethics Bowl (2025).
I am completing my Associate of Arts at Central Piedmont Community College with a 4.0 GPA and will transfer in Fall 2026 for advanced study in archaeology and anthropology. Accepted to 3 institutions; decision pending.
